Lynda Poulin is a registered Clinical Psychologist with the College of Psychologists of Ontario and the Ordre des psychologues du Québec. She has over 25 years of experience in performing psychological assessments and providing psychotherapy to adults, using a brief and cognitive-behavioral approach.
Mrs Poulin was an expert witness in Family and Criminal Court in Hawkesbury and St-Jérome for many years before establishing her private practice in the National Capital Region. She has conducted hundreds of psychological assessments for employees working within law enforcement and national security agencies. Through these years in the public and private sectors, she has gained a valuable knowledge and skills in diagnosis and treatment of psychological disorders encountered by adults in their personal or professional life. Lynda Poulin was also invited to give presentations at numerous international conferences.
In 2011, Lynda Poulin was one of the first psychologists to offer psychotherapy via Skype. This innovative approach of providing psychological services to expatriates and clients living in remote areas triggered enourmous interest from the media (Journal de Montreal and L'itinéraire)
